🕥 Meeting Time: 8:30 AM

Start your full-day private tour with a morning departure. Travel comfortably in a luxury minivan as the city gives way to rolling hills, olive groves, and cypress-lined roads. Your local driver-guide will share stories and insights, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey through the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage region renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, fine wines, and authentic Tuscan flavors.

Montalcino – Discover Brunello Wine
Your first stop is the medieval hilltop town of Montalcino, world-famous for producing Brunello di Montalcino, one of Italy’s most prestigious wines. Enjoy free time to explore the cobbled streets, visit the historic fortress, or relax with an espresso while admiring panoramic vineyard views.

Iconic Tuscan Cypress Road. Pause at one of the most iconic sights of Tuscany—a serene countryside road framed by tall cypress trees and rolling golden hills. This is the perfect location to capture postcard-worthy photos of the Tuscan countryside.

Authentic Cheese & Beer Tasting on a Family Farm
Continue to a traditional sheep farm near Pienza, where you’ll meet Elia, known as the “Shepherd of Val d’Orcia.” Watch the age-old process of making Pecorino cheese and enjoy a generous tasting paired with homemade jams, local honey, and Elia’s unique craft beer. Surrounded by stunning rural landscapes, this intimate experience offers a genuine connection to Tuscan food culture and farming traditions.

Pienza – Renaissance Charm & Local Flavors
Next, visit Pienza, a UNESCO-listed Renaissance town celebrated for its harmonious architecture and artisan shops. Wander through its charming streets, taste local specialties, or simply soak in the tranquil hilltop atmosphere.

Montepulciano – Wine Tasting in Underground Cellars
In the afternoon, head to Montepulciano, another jewel of Tuscany. Descend into ancient underground wine cellars for a guided tasting of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello wines. Enhance the experience with samples of extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar—true staples of Tuscan cuisine.

Return to Florence
After a day immersed in Tuscany’s wine, food, and history, sit back and enjoy a relaxing drive through the countryside, returning to Florence in the early evening.

Great selection of wines! First place taught us about a bunch of wine tips, but stay focused cause he talks fast and doesn’t repeat which wine he is talking about. The second place I was to far away so I wasn’t sure what I was drinking but didn’t care cause the view was beautiful.

My boyfriend and I had a great time seeing 2 wineries in Tuscany. We tried 5 wines, balsamic and 2 olive oils at the first winery and 3 wines at the second. The wineries were beautiful, tables under umbrellas setup within the vines, and the views were worthy. The wine pairings were plentiful and left us full by the end.

My husband signed us up on this last minute, (night before), and it was one of the best choices we made our entire trip. Jean Francois our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area; we really enjoyed listening to his stories on the bus. Very sociable and fun for ALL ages! (Well maybe not kids) and great for couples, singles, and groups of friends!
