How many people can ride in the Tuk Tuk?

Each Tuk Tuk is approved to carry a maximum of two passengers in the rear seats, plus the driver in the front. No additional seats are available.

Is there an age requirement for the tour?

Yes. The minimum age to participate is 13 years old. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Since each Tuk Tuk accommodates only two guests, minors cannot participate alone.

What happens if it rains?

The tour operates in most weather conditions; however, for safety and comfort reasons, it will not run in case of heavy rain or severe weather conditions. If weather conditions prevent the tour from operating, our team will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.

Start your Tuscany experience with Tuk Tuk ride on quiet and scenic roads through the rolling hills of the Chianti Colli Senesi region where some of the most famous Tuscan wines are produced and fall in love with the fields of vines, cypresses and Tuscan rural houses.

Your driving local guide will stop along way at scenic spots for photos and breathtaking memories. At the stops you will enjoy learnig info about Tuscany, the local traditions and products typical of the area.

Stop in the first local winery in the Chianti Colli Senesi for a guided tour through the vineyards and the cellar. Taste up to 9 wines including the famous Vernaccia white wine, Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan wines. Enjoy also an authentic Tuscan lunch with Antipasti Toscani (bruschetta, pecorino cheese, Tuscan cured meat), some Lasagna with truffle oil, traditional Ribolita bread Soup and Cantuccini biscuits as dessert. Here you will learn how to recognize the different flavours and develop your taste buds with a passionate wine producer.

Happy and possibly tipsy continue the tour after lunch of the Chianti Classico region with stunning views and plenty of stops for photos and interesting stories of the area. Return back to the starting point where our tour will end.

Semi-Private Tour The semi-private experience departs from the Tuscany on Wheels office in Barberino Tavarnelle (Florence countryside) and is operated alongside our Tuscany Vespa Tour group. You will have exclusive use of your Tuk Tuk, but the itinerary is shared with other participants traveling on Vespas. Private Tour The private option offers a completely exclusive experience. You and your companion will enjoy your own Tuk Tuk, guide, and itinerary without joining any other group. Please note: In both options, each Tuk Tuk accommodates a maximum of two guests.
